Charles Leclerc has every intention of allowing Scuderia Ferrari to turn its head after a disastrous 2020 season.
If 2021 should be a transition season given the technical freeze implemented this year, the SF21 should nevertheless mark a clear evolution compared to its predecessor.
For his part, Leclerc hopes that the experience gained during the past campaign will bear fruit and that he will be able to apply the lessons he learned last year on the track.
“It’s hard to know what the car will give before hitting the track, indicates Charles. With all the meetings we’ve had since the start of the season, we know more or less where we are. There has been a lot of work to move it forward. Other people have worked on it and we’ll see what happens on the track. “
“For my part, I worked a lot on my tire management in 2020, I made progress and I try to be as fast and aggressive as possible, underlines the Monegasque. There’s a lot going on in the race with strategy and fuel and tire management. It’s all about performance. “
