This joint venture in favor of electric mobility is the result of the alliance between Stellantis and Engie EPS announced on January 26, 2021.
As Managing Director of Free2Move eSolutions – the joint venture created by Stellantis and Engie EPS at the start of the year – Roberto Di Stefano will be responsible for continuing the development of new e-mobility solutions. This company, which is scheduled to start up in the second quarter of 2021, aims to offer the international market a full range of products and solutions, such as residential, commercial and public charging infrastructure, as well as charging subscriptions from energy aimed at facilitating access to electric mobility to as many people as possible. She hopes to become “An international leader in the design, production and marketing of more sustainable e-mobility products and services”.
Roberto Di Stefano is a faithful member of the FCA group since he joined it in April 1988. After 28 years of career, he joined Magneti Marelli in 2016 where he held various positions in Brazil as General Manager of Magneti Marelli America Latin America and Managing Director of the Global Transmission (engines, electrification and exhaust systems) and Shock absorbers segments of Magneti Marelli. Finally, in April 2019, Roberto Di Stefano made his return to FCA by taking the head of the automotive group’s E-mobility team, thus participating in the company’s transition to electrification. In 2020, he also became Head of Network Development at FCA for the EMEA region.
In his new role, Roberto Di Stefano will work alongside Carlalberto Guglielminotti who was appointed president of the entity.
