As of April 7, Philippe Canetti becomes director of industrial vehicles activities of the company Saga, a subsidiary of the RCM group. Its mission is to develop the Industrial Vehicles (IV) activity of the group, which has 14 Mercedes-Benz Trucks sites in France, Belgium and Switzerland. In his new functions, Philippe Canetti reports to Ronan Chabot, Chairman of the RCM group.
In 2019, Saga achieved a turnover of 134.5 million euros with its IV and LCV activity. In 2020, the group sold 657 IV (+ 5.5%) and 2,223 LCV (+ 5%). It developed strongly in January 2020, by taking over SAS Massoni, and its Mercedes VI points of sale in Angoulême (16), Brive-La-Gaillarde (19), Périgueux (24), and Limoges (87) realizing 42 million euros in turnover, for a volume of 200 trucks and 450 new vans sold per year.
Philippe Canetti graduated from ESC Compiègne and holds the Executive MBA from HEC Paris. In 1995, he began his career in the corporate credit department of GMAC, a subsidiary of General Motors. In 2002, he was promoted to Director of Network Development at General Motors France. In 2005, he joined the sales and network management of Kia Motors France. In 2007, he joined Piaggio as director of sales and network for the Aprilia brand in France. In 2008, he joined Daf Trucks France as Sales Director. Since 2011, he has been Managing Director of Daf Trucks France. Since 2020, he has been President of branch VI of CSIAM.
