The US manufacturer won in the “Small SUV” and “Family SUV” categories with the Puma and Kuga. As for the Fiesta and Focus, they finished 2nd in the “City Cars” and “Compact Medium” categories.
At the end of the year, Le Moniteur Automobile / AutoGids, one of the most recognized automotive media in Belgium, organized the first edition of its Best Car Awards election.
An election bringing together the votes of the magazine’s editorial staff, but also of professional journalists outside the organizing media, as well as the opinions of the general public. In fact, 15,000 people expressed their views via the monitorsautomobile.be/autogids.be websites.
This first edition made it possible to highlight the best cars of each of the 9 established categories, in order to make it easier for the candidate buyer to orientate himself.
Awarded two victories and two second places, Ford products stood out for their dynamic qualities, their versatility, their pragmatism and their price-performance ratio.
In the Small SUV category, the Puma won in particular for its energy efficiency and the practical aspects offered by its MegaBox, while the general public voted for its design.
Among the Family SUVs, the Kuga has made the difference with its range of engines, its range of available equipment, its connectivity and its price / performance ratio.
Second in the Compact Medium category, the Focus stands out for its versatility, while with the same position in the City Cars category, the Fiesta demonstrates its consistency in terms of dynamic qualities and price.
