Atos converts its entire fleet to electricity


The IT and digital services giant is aiming for carbon neutrality for all of its rolling stock by 2024.

Atos is accelerating the energy transition of its company vehicle fleet. The company – presented as the European leader in cloud, cybersecurity and supercomputers – is giving itself three years to green its large fleet.

In a press release, Acts agrees to « replace all of its 5,500 vehicles with electric models by the end of 2024 “. An approach that should make it possible to “Reduce the carbon emissions of the global fleet by 50% in three years, in line with the ambition to achieve ‘net zero emissions’ by 2028”, is it still specified. At the same time, the company undertakes to increase its network of charging stations from 100 to 500 on its various sites and facilitate the installation of home charging stations of its employees.

The volume of vehicles to be renewed being significant, Atos intends to rely on a network of car manufacturers and suppliers. The company announces that it has selected the national manufacturers Renault and Stellantis (formerly Groupe PSA) in order to provide it with the expected clean vehicles.
